THE HOUSE of DJ MMIX - JUNE 2014

This recorded mix began when I heard the 1st track “Let it Go” a Armin Van Buuren remix from the successful animated film “Frozen”. It seemed to have captured the hearts of so many people ( The Movie), but what captured my ear was the exquisite artistry of AVB’s
trance/techno remix. The depth and darkness, such a contrast to movie’s version, yet it drew me into it. “Let it Go” and I did with a rare Techno/Electro blend of Progressive and Deep House tracks that are locked away as I know that someday I will return with the right Mindset, Energy level and message.
So, you are in-store for a rare treat as I go back to my 3 AM trance after-hours roots and pull together an incredibly intensive electric vibe that does not drop below 131 BPM’s for 30 minutes!! I have vocals tracks from some of my favorite angelic voices of JES and Elle Goulding and the magic maker Ferry Corsten. I hope you open your mind to the awesome energy and mental synapse that will have your body working up a sweat to this short and intensive podcast. I know it had me sweating just mixing and doing and living my passion.
Track Listing
Let it Go’ ( from Frozen ) AVB feat. Idina Menzel
Not Coming Down; Ferry Corsten (feat. BetsieLarkin)
Don’t Leave; Seven Lions feat. Elle Goulding
In Your Eyes; Ferry Corsten; feat. JES

THE HOUSE of DJ MMIX - MARCH 2014

Our 1st Podcast for 2014 has a heavy edge of Progressive House tracks. There are 2 tracks from my personal favorite remix team “InFiction”. I lead with their latest release which was a favorite 80’s song of mine. But I must confess, the remixed version is AWESOME! They also worked the InFiction magic on “Disco Balls”.
In summary the progressive mature of the tracks has an intense dance feel, but it’s all HOUSE!
Welcome to another year at THE HOUSE OF DJ MMIX
